SEND and Inclusion

SEND and Inclusion
At Saltaire Primary School, we are proud of our inclusive and nurturing approach. Our aim is to ensure that all children achieve their potential, personally, socially, emotionally and academically in all areas of the curriculum (regardless of their gender, ethnicity, social background, religion, sexual identity, physical ability or educational needs). The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCO) is Miss Kate Jacklin. She can be contacted on the school's phone number 01274 584093. Any complaints about the procedures that the school has regarding provision of SEND should be made to the Headteacher who will respond and report the outcome to the Governing Body.

Saltaire Primary School's Local Offer

We implement a graduated approach based on the guidance from Bradford Metropolitan District Council's Children's Services for SEND Support. This is based on an Assess-Plan-Do-Review 3 range structure.
If a child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), then we provide the support detailed in the plan.

Below is a summary of our 'Local Offer' provision for Ranges 1 to 3 for each area of SEND.
