Welcome to Saltaire Primary School
I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. I hope you will find it useful and a good point of reference with current information and details of upcoming events in school.
We are extremely proud to be a diverse and inclusive community school, committed to ensuring every child receives the best possible education. At Saltaire Primary School, every child’s learning journey is rooted in exciting contexts and enriched by first hand experiences, ensuring that our children develop mastery and depth of understanding through a fun and interesting school curriculum. Our aim is to bring out the best in each individual. Every child is given the opportunity to realise his or her potential in a safe, caring learning environment.
We also understand that learning doesn't end in the classroom – there are plenty of extra-curricular activities on offer, with opportunities for children to join the choir, eco club, play a variety of musical instruments or develop their football skills with the professional coaches who train our players. We are very proud of the strong culture of mutual care and support within the school which results in many of our Year 5 & 6 children becoming Play Pals and Buddies to the younger children in school.
We foster a strong sense of community at Saltaire Primary School which extends beyond the school gates. Parents and carers are welcome to get involved in school in whatever way they feel most comfortable. We hope you enjoy looking around our website and encourage you to get in touch should you have any further questions.
