Residential Visits 2019

Dear Parents and Carers,

At Saltaire Primary School we are committed to offering residential visits for our children. We believe they benefit hugely by staying away from home overnight and build memories which last a long time. However, over the last few years, we have become very aware of the increasing costs of running such visits.

We will continue to offer residential visits and will always try to reduce costs as much as possible. However, I recognise that the cost of residential visits can become very expensive for parents, especially if you have children in a number of Key Stage 2 classes. This has become more evident as the number of residential visits has increased.

We are now at the stage where we need to make decisions about whether to run all of our residentials in the next academic year or reduce the amount of visits on offer.

To help us with the planning of future educational visits, I would like to invite you to take part in a short online survey. This can be found on the school website or by clicking this link:

I would appreciate hearing from all parents, whether your children are in Key Stage 2 or not, as this will inform future decisions.

I look forward to your responses.

Kind regards,

Mr Rob Whitehead
