Sporting Fixtures 2019-20

Sporting Events for 2019 - 2020
 
We started our sporting year off with the great news that our school has achieved the Gold School Games mark. This highlights our ongoing commitment to providing high quality PE and sporting experiences at our school. It also recognises our regular involvement in the many local sports competitions in our area.
In September our Year 6 boys football team took part in the inter schools football tournament at Beckfoot. They worked together really well as a team and were placed second in their league. Well done boys.
In September our Year 6 girls football team entered the inter schools football tournament at Beckfoot. They played really well and gained fourth position in their league. Well done girls. 
In November our Year 4 mixed Football team of girls and boys competed in the Autumn School Games Football tournament held at Bradford Grammar School. They worked well together as a team and came third in their league. 
In October and again in March our Cross Country runners met to complete races at both Sandal Primary School and Bradford Grammar School. We had a total of 38 boys and girls representing years 3,4,5 and 6. They gained some really good final positions. Well done all runners. Please see www.bsaa.org.uk for results.  
In March our mixed team of swimmers from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 competed at the Inter School Semi Finals Swimming Gala at Shipley Pool. They swam really well against 9 other schools and gained joint 3rd, bronze medal positions. Well done team.
