The following data represents the most up-to-date published performance measures for the end of Key Stage 2 assessments for 2022-2023. School performance data for the 2022/23 academic year should be used with caution given the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected individual schools and pupils differently.

By the end of Key Stage 2
Reading
In reading, 78% of children achieved the expected standard in July 2023. This is above the national average of 73%. 35% of our children achieved a higher standard compared to 29% nationally. Our progress measure in reading is above national, at 0.32. The average score pupils achieved on the national test was 106.9, again above the national score of 105.1.
Writing
In writing, 78% of children achieved the expected standard in July 2023. This is above the national average of 71%. 20% of our children achieved a higher standard which is well above the national figure of 13%. Our progress measure in writing is above national, at 0.71.
Mathematics
In mathematics, 72% of children achieved the expected standard in July 2023. This is slightly below the national average of 73%. 27% of our children achieved a higher standard compared to 24% nationally. Our progress measure in maths is above national, at 0.71. The average score pupils achieved on the national test was 105.2, compared to 104.2 nationally.
Reading, Writing and Maths Combined
By the end of Key Stage 2, 68% of pupils have achieved the expected standard in all of reading, writing and mathematics combined. This is above the national average (60%). 17% of pupils have achieved the high standard across all three subjects, which again is above the national average of 8%.
