'The only way to find your voice is to use it'
Austin Kleon
We understand the power of talk and strive to provide every child with rich and varied opportunities within a dialogic environment where they are able to develop and flourish by using spoken language. Oracy is at the heart of our curriculum and is taught in every subject.
We want children to become agile and confident communicators who can use their voice for academic and emotional success, enabling them to lead happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
We are a Voice 21 oracy school and are currently working towards accreditation as an 'Oracy Centre of Excellence'. We continue to develop our culture of oracy which empcompasses all areas of our learning journey. We know that one of the key paths to future success is through children finding and using their voice.
