Educational Visits

At our school, educational visits are an important part of learning, giving children the chance to explore new environments, develop real-world skills, and enrich their classroom experiences. Whether it’s a local trip or a residential stay, these outings help to bring learning to life and support personal growth. To ensure every child’s safety and wellbeing during these visits, it is essential that parents and carers keep all medical information and permissions up to date. Accurate details about medical conditions, allergies, and emergency contacts allow staff to provide the right care and respond quickly if needed. By working together, we can make every educational visit both enjoyable and safe for all pupils.

Annual Travel Sickness Medication Administration Form

If your child is prone to travel sickness, we ask that you complete a Medication Administration Form found below to give consent for staff to administer (or supervise the administration of) travel sickness medication during educational visits. This will help us to ensure that your child remains comfortable and able to fully participate in all activities.

Please note that medication must be provided to the school at least three days before the date of each visit. Unfortunately, we will not be able to administer travel sickness medication if it has not been received by this time.

You are also welcome to leave a supply of travel sickness medication in the school office for use on any educational visits during the academic year. This can help avoid the need to send medication in for each trip.

The completed Medication Administration Form will cover all educational visits for the academic year. It is the responsibility of parents and carers to inform the school if this medication is no longer required or if any details on the form change during the year.
